Judaism and the church were born during the same feast
"SHAVUOT"
Shavuot is the Hebrew name, and Pentecost
is the Greek name of the feast, Pentecost is a derivation of the Greek word for
fifty, referring to the fifty days after Pesach
Fifty days after the first Pesach (Exodus 12) the Torah
was given to Jewish people on Mount Sinai, and Judaism was born.
During this feast (Shavuot) , which is one of the three
feasts with Pesach and Sukkot when Jewish people were
to go to Jerusalem, the church was born (Acts 2:1-4)
